Randy is a native Washingtonian. He attended Peninsula High School and graduated from WesternWashington University. He taught and coached for a few years before becoming a partner in a management consulting firm in Seattle. The consulting position took him to the Caribbean and that set in motion his transition to the marine industry. He managed a yacht charter business in the Virgin Islands and then relocated to the Bahamas to manage a private estate and yachts there.

In l985, he returned to the Northwest and began his career as a yacht broker. In 1997, he joined forces with Terry Cooke and Lex Mitchell to form Emerald Pacific Yachts. Over the years, he has represented a wide variety of new and used vessels and has worked with numerous clients on new
custom orders with several yacht manufacturers.

Randy takes a genuine interest in each client. His career satisfaction comes from obtaining a full understanding of a clients’ goals and objectives and then utilizing his many industry contacts and years of successful experience to match their criteria. This leads to a positive outcome for those that work with him and, as a result, Randy’s business is largely based upon repeat clients and their
referrals.
