Seattle, WA - Emerald Pacific Yachts and Alliance Yacht Sales announced a merger effective December 1, 2009, making Emerald Pacific Yachts the exclusive West Coast distributor of Australian built, Riviera Yachts.

Rob Scott from Alliance Yachts has joined the team at Emerald Pacific Yachts. He brings with him 14 years of professional sales experience and an extensive knowledge of the Riviera Yachts product line of 33' to 70' yachts. This merger will strengthen the already successful sales of Riviera Yachts on the West Coast, and gives Riviera Yachts nine additional well qualified brokers to represent the Riviera line.

Emerald Pacific Yachts is also the exclusive West Coast distributor for the successful line of Horizon Yachts from 62' to 143'. The offering of smaller, more affordable Riviera Yachts will provide an enlarged market share for Emerald Pacific Yachts, while expanding their offering of quality brokerage boats.

Alliance Marine Service as part of Alliance Service Corp will continue operations in Seattle. They will provide their expertise with commissioning and warranty service on new Riviera yachts, plus refits, upgrades, and routine service programs as currently offered.

Emerald Pacific Yachts was formed 13 years ago and currently has two locations. The Seattle office is on South Lake Union in Chandler's Cove and the San Diego office is on Harbor Island at Sunroad Marina.
